I want to take this opportunity to thank you for your financial advice. When you recently did a complete financial review for me, you explained everything in a very simple and easy to understand way. Although I wanted to invest money immediately you advised it would be better to wait a while before starting an investment programme. I really appreciate your honesty and integrity and will certainly use your services when the time is right. I strongly recommend using James at Foxgrove Associates for all your financial planning needs as I know you will be well looked after there.
James Sambrook of Foxgrove Associates has been helping me with independent financial advice since I left the corporate world to set up as a self employed consultant six months ago. Two areas of his expertise were immediately useful to me - retirement planning (including the release of pension funds following the Government's decision to allow people aged 55+ to take pension as cash) and life assurance to cover my outstanding mortgage. James took the time to understand my current situation and future plans over a series of face to face meetings and has come up with some excellent products to solve my needs. At no time did he pressure me into taking more than I wanted, and during the process he took as much time as I needed to question his recommendations and to go away and think about them. James is ideally placed to help and advise anyone with financial needs and this would be particularly useful for people who are self employed and people who are starting up a business, but in reality anyone could benefit from his independent advice. I will recommend James to anyone I meet who expresses the need for financial advice.
I am a reasonably numerically and financially savvy person who finds the whole Pensions subject to be a minefield of incomprehensible rules! My husband is an intelligent, informed man who knows a lot about a lot of things, and as a result can be distinctly uncomfortable when a subject is beyond him. This often results in tension and hostility when having to deal with certain matters! This atmosphere James entered when he visited us – I knew that with changes to pension rules, our financial matter were needing attention, and although I didn't know James very well at that stage, I sensed that he was trustworthy! My husband was, however less than enthusiastic about the visit, and quite frankly could have done without it. James handled the situation so well...he was gentle and knowledgeable, and within a very short time, my husband not only relaxed, but participated enthusiastically, ultimately understanding more about where we were and what needed to be done. I have got to know James much better over the last few months through our BNI association, and would trust his integrity without hesitation. He is well qualified, understands the minefield of financial legislation, but has remained a gentle, considerate human being. I would have absolutely no hesitation in recommending him to anybody, at any level on the wealth scale, and know without any question that any advice given would be entirely in the best interests of the client.
Graham recently arranged my Life Insurance policy for me and is currently looking into my personal and company pension requirements. He is always a pleasure to deal with, made me feel very comfortable with the sensitive 'stuff' and completely confident with the arrangements and my policies. I can't recommend Graham and the team at Foxgrove Associates highly enough.
Having neglected my personal finances and in particular my pension for a number of years, I took my paperwork to Graham for his advice and guidance. He and his team patiently unravelled the history of my finances and put together a plan for rebuilding them to give me a fighting chance of not being solely reliant on the state's benevolence in my rapidly approaching twilight years.
I can wholeheartedly recommend Graham's services for several reasons: Foxgrove has access to the whole market, not just a selected range of investment plans, and Graham employs his technical skills in finding the best possible solutions; he also takes time to listen, rather than assume he already knows what his clients want to do with their money.
Thank you Graham, for your advice and assistance in improving my financial standing!
I just wanted to write to you to thank you personally for being so brilliant in handling our mortgage affairs. Steve and I were really muddled about our options and you are clearly an expert. Even better, you talked about what was available to us in plain English, so that we could understand and make an informed decision. It's a minefield out there and you knew how to guide us through and reach a decision best suited to our needs. We felt we could talk to you in confidence which was very important and you made us feel you were on our side. I would have no hesitation in recommending you to friends and colleagues, and indeed I already have.
Thank you for the review of our current mortgage and discussion on the way forward to take us through to the end of the loan. You were honest that we were best to stay where we are at the moment due to penalties we would incur on moving. We will discuss again in a couple of years when the penalties will no longer apply and I look forward to receiving your solid advice and making the correct choices then.
I met Graham initially to get an overview of my financial situation and to ensure that my current financial advisor had set up my polices correctly and had given me sound advice. I explained this to Graham at the outset and he was more than happy to look everything over and make sure things were as they should be even if it meant not representing me if the policies were all fine. As it happens my concerns were not unfounded and he discovered some potentially disastrous oversights within the policies I had. Once those were corrected he listened to what I felt I wanted and advised me according to my needs and financial capabilities. He was very straight forward in his analysis and followed through thoroughly in the changeover to policies that will be better for me in the long run. I can't recommend Graham enough, had he not set me up on the right pathway I could have been in a very questionable financial position in the future. More to the point though finally meeting an IFA that talks straight and wasn't boring was a refreshing and pleasant change.
I am writing to say a massive thank you to Graham of Foxgrove Associates when he popped round to discuss my financial affairs, especially my concerns with regard to my Pensions. As you are aware this is always headline news, with pension shortfalls and low expectations, I don't mind admitting that I was somewhat sceptical, more to the point embarrassed, because I had not bothered to do anything about my pensions, for some time. However, to the contrary Graham was the complete opposite, very prefessional and most of all reassuring to both Shirley and I, a box of shortbreads later, took all the relative documentation to analyse and request, current up-to-date statements. Graham responded very quickly and came back with various options in order to meet our financial needs and hopefully in the long-term secure a financial future for both Shirley and I. Graham is very experienced in his field and provided some excellent advice, I would not hesitate to recommend 'Foxgrove Associates' especially Graham to anyone, should his services be required. Once again, many thanks.
I approached Graham some time ago to discuss Life Assurance, Critical Illness Cover and Income Protection options. Graham was very easy to talk to and he made everything easy to understand. Now that all my policies have been set up I feel a sense of relief so thanks again Graham for your hard work with getting these sorted. I was that impressed with Foxgrove as a whole that I have decided to seek mortgage advice and information about pension options.
